Activities Update for Summer/Annual Residents

Good day, Deer Creek!

Before I call it a season, I thought I’d share this new information about some Summer activities that are now planned for the annual residents this off-season. In my absence, Terri “TJ” Jones has graciously offered to facilitate the following:

EFFECTIVE JUNE, 2025 in the Main Clubhouse:

Monday Night at 6:30pm will be GAME NIGHT. Bring your group and/or game or come on your own and join in. Featuring board games, card games, dice games or bring your own. Tavern will be open.

Wednesday Night at 6:30pm will be MOVIE NIGHT. Come and enjoy the cool air conditioned space that is the MCH and enjoy a movie. It’ll be nice to get out of the house, commingle, and the tavern will be open. Watch Facebook for the movie of the week.

Thursday at 5:00pm we will reprise the COMMUNITY DINNERS. $5 Donation minimum. 5:00PM until the food is gone or 7:00PM, whichever comes first. See TJ to sign up to cook. This year TJ is putting forth a challenge among the communities…be sure to inquire with your community representative as to how you can help. IMPORTANT NOTE: There will be NO COMMUNITY DINNER on June 19^th due to a previously scheduled private event in the clubhouse.

And, last but not least…

On Saturday, August 23^rd,

A DANCE with LIVE MUSIC featuring Osprey Point’s very own Exit 55+ Band from 6:00pm to 8:30pm in the MCH. Everyone is welcome. The entry fee is $5.00 that will be put toward a 50/50 Raffle ticket for you. Who knows…you may win cash and dance all in one night.

Holiday Luncheons – Tickets on sale from TJ or the Pro Shop (We remain in need of a speaker for the Labor Day Luncheon. Lunch provided for speaker and one guest.)
