On Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 11:00 am, Deer Creek will hold its 13th annual ceremony celebrating America's Veterans Day and Canada's Remembrance Day.
We have no shortage of US Veterans to participate in raising the American flag and laying the memorial wreaths. We would love to be able to honor our Canadian neighbors by finding a Canadian Veteran or even a Canadian civilian, like last year, who is willing to volunteer to represent Canada, raise their flag and participate in posting memorial wreaths.
If you have any Canadian Military Veterans or even a Canadian civilian in your community who would be interested in honoring Canada by volunteering to participate in this Remembrance Day Ceremony, please contact Kerry King, Deer Creek Activities Director at 863-424-2839, ext 112.
Sincerely,
Kerry King
