We would like to take a moment to share a few important community reminders. Your cooperation helps keep Deer Creek safe, attractive, and running smoothly for everyone.
Yard Waste Pick-Up
Please remember that yard waste left for pickup must be small enough for staff to safely lift and remove. Leaving large debris—such as an entire tree—is not acceptable. When possible, yard waste should be bundled to assist with handling.
Please keep in mind that individuals are physically picking up this material, and your thoughtfulness is appreciated. If you are ever unsure whether an item is appropriate for pickup, community containers are available for residents to transport yard waste themselves.
Rental Properties — Required Documentation
It has come to our attention that there are rental properties within the community that have not been properly registered with the Administration and/or HOA.
Owners who rent their properties are responsible for ensuring compliance by submitting the required Rental Form, which can be:
- Downloaded from our website: https://deercreekrvonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/RENTERS-form.pdf
Picked up at the Administration Office - Emailed upon request by the Administration Office
Completed forms must be submitted to both the Administration Office and the HOA Board of the applicable community.
Pedestrian Safety Reminder
For safety reasons, please use the sidewalks when walking. We continue to receive concerns regarding residents and guests walking on the grass and/or roadways. Your cooperation helps reduce safety risks and protects common areas.
Seasonal Departures & Lot Responsibility
As some residents prepare to leave for the season, please remember that even while away, owners remain responsible for their lots. Although the violation process for certain appearance and maintenance items was temporarily paused due to last month's freeze and current water restrictions, owners must still ensure that someone is monitoring their property and responding to any friendly notices issued by the Community Supervisor. Friendly notices are the first step in resolving potential issues.
Hurricane Season Preparedness
With hurricane season approaching, we ask all residents to be proactive. Items such as planters, loose furniture, temporary pet fencing, and similar materials should be secured, strapped down, removed, or stored safely so they do not become projectiles during severe weather. This includes appropriate tree trimming where needed. Vigilance and preparation help protect your home and your neighbors homes/property.
Local Vendor Reminder
- Baxter Meats typically visits the Administration parking lot on Thursdays
- The produce/vegetable vendor is at the Administration office on Fridays
Please stop by when available and support our local vendors.
Thank you for your continued cooperation and for helping keep Deer Creek a safe and enjoyable community.
