Good Afternoon,
Our office has been made aware of a non-resident that has been seen walking in or out of Deer Creek at different times of the day. He claims to be a friend of one of the residents in Deer Creek and will say the name but is not a welcomed guest of this resident. Deer Creek has reported this individual to the Polk County Sheriffs department with the little information that we had. Until we have more information we can't have him listed as a trespasser.
If you see an African American male, husky build, between 5'5 – 5'7 ft, looks in his 30's and carries a black backpack hanging around the tunnel, club house areas; please call the non-emergency number 863-298-6200 for Polk County Sheriff's department to report him. You do not need to question him or engage. If there is an emergency situation, please call 911.
The tunnel bathrooms will be locked in the evening. Please be mindful when leaving your club houses to make sure all doors are locked. Please also follow these same guidelines for your personal property.
