Some areas within Deer Creek are part of our community’s stormwater management system. These spaces help control drainage, protect nearby homes during heavy rain, and must remain in a natural state unless specific maintenance is required. Because of this, homeowners are not permitted to trim, clear, or remove vegetation on common ground unless written approval is provided by Administration.
To help everyone understand what can and cannot be done in these areas, we have prepared a simple policy outlining the types of maintenance that are allowed and those that require review. This policy is attached for your reference.
If you have concerns about vegetation near your property or believe maintenance may be needed, please contact the office before doing any work. We are happy to review the area and determine what is appropriate under our environmental permit.
