We have been monitoring the progress of Milton, which has now become a hurricane.
Deer Creek remains committed to the safety of our community but also our team members and their families.
Over the next few days, we will continue to monitor the situation and communicate with you regarding any changes.
Starting Wednesday, October 9, 2024, we will be closed and plan to reopen the office on Thursday, October 10th. However, this could change based on the path and speed of the storm. As always, we will send a communication with any updates. This includes the Pro Shop, Ranger Station, Administration office and Maintenance.
There will be NO TRASH PICK UP starting on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, until notified of otherwise.
As a reminder, Clubhouses are not to be used as shelters.
Staff will have access to email/phones when available.
The on-call maintenance phone is 863-289-4379.
Gates at the main entrance, Regal Pointe, and between OP/RP turnabout will be removed for safety. All pool furniture is to remain off pool decks until informed.
- Please be advised that each of us must take the proper precautions by ensuring that all decorative items, trash and recycling receptacles, or any objects being stored around our properties are safely secured or stored inside to ensure that they do not become projectiles.
- Clean out gutters to ensure that there is no water back up into your homes.
- Review your individual Homeowners Insurance Policies (coverage and deductibles).
- Plan to fuel vehicles in advance in the event of evacuation and be sure to park vehicles in a safe area.
- Any loose items, such as outdoor furniture, hoses, grills, plants, or lawn equipment, must be tied down or stored inside the house or garage. Screened patios will not protect your property, as screens can be damaged during high winds and rain.
- After the storm has passed, DO NOT move any downed trees in the road, and stay away from any downed electrical lines.
- Reach out in emergencies to your utility company, if necessary.
In case of an actual emergency, Dial 9-1-1 for Police, Fire Rescue, or for medical emergencies.
Please be safe as the storm impacts Florida over the next couple of days. Make sure you and your family are adequately prepared for this storm. Your safety is our priority.
