Good afternoon, Deer Creek.
Just wanted to keep you updated on upcoming events as follows:
- Toys for Tots pick up of donated, new, unwrapped toys will be on Monday, December 9th. Please consider purchasing a little something for the kids. Deposit in your community’s collection box prior to that date. Boxes are also in the Admin Office and Main Clubhouse.
- Line Dance Instruction begins tomorrow, Tuesday, December 3rd at the MCH at 2:30pm.
- Karaoke – Thursday, December 5th in the MCH at 6pm
- Night Riders will ride this Saturday evening, December 7th at dark.
- GET THOSE CARTS DECORATED for the annual Christmas Golf Cart Parade which takes place on Thursday, December 12th. Line up in the Pro Shop parking lot at 5:45p. Kickoff at 6p
- Night Golf takes place on Friday, December 13th.
- A special Christmas Karaoke will be held on December 21st from 4pm to 7pm in the MCH. It is sponsored by Fred Duffy and features a Christmas Carol ensemble (three or more singers) contest.
- Tickets for New Year’s Eve at the MCH are on sale now. There is a limited number remaining, so please see Kerry King in the Admin Office or Paula Despirito in Partridge Pines for yours. Hurry!!
- January Karaoke – Thursday, January 2nd in the MCH at 6p.
- THE CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT sign up has begun. Last year the spots sold out in very short order. If you hope to play, please see Kerry in the Admin office at your earliest convenience. Registration is $20 per team. The tournament date is Saturday, January 4th with a rain date of January 11,2025.
- Tiki Music kicks off on Sunday, January 5th at 3pm with Gunnar Raye.
- Swing Dance Instruction in the MCH has been pushed and will now begin on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 6pm.
- A dance featuring Live Music will be offered on Thursday, January 9th, in the MCH from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. All are welcome and no ticket is needed.
- With reference to the Valentine’s Cruise on the Celebrity Apex in February 2026, we were able to negotiate an early booking discount of an additional $300 OFF the booking rate for a veranda and $150 for the inside or ocean view room. See attached.
