If your smoke detector is over 10 years old, then you need to take advantage of this FREE smoke detector installation event!!
In association with The American Red Cross, Deer Creek CERT announces another FREE Smoke Detector Installation Event on Monday, December 9, 2024, between 9AM and 1PM. No specific time will be scheduled, so you are required to be home during this timeframe for registration and installation.
This is a FREE device installation offer to our residents. These devices contain lithium batteries which are guaranteed for 10 years.
The first 100 residents who respond will be confirmed for this date. As long as the need remains, we plan to continue with these installs until everyone that wants a new device is able to have one installed.
Please respond by emailing lynne.shannon831@yahoo.com with your name, address, phone number and community. The Red Cross also has a supply of bed shakers or strobe light devices should you need a hearing-impaired device. I will need to know this information in advance as well. These devices are on a first-come, first-served basis.
We also need volunteers to assist with the event—installers, document coordinators, golf cart/drivers. Please email lynne.shannon831@yahoo.com with your contact information.
